2017 EVENTS

Hanging Basket Day!

April 29, 10am-4pm

As with many home projects, sometimes best intentions don't always achieve the best results. When it comes to hanging baskets or containers, we can help! This year's Hanging Basket Day is April 29. Bring in your empty baskets and containers from last year, choose from a pre-set variety of filler options* and we'll do the planting for you! Prices vary on size of containers and plant selection (as an example, a 10" 'Sun Mix' is $17). Please note that baskets must be emptied prior to arrival, and no advance drop-offs please. Thank you! Pictured is a shade moss basket at maturity.

*What's a filler option you ask? We have created a short list of plants that do best in containers, provide the longest lasting show of colour (for sun or shade), and offer the nicest upright, mounding or trailing form. then we plant them in a way that will give you full, rounded, baskets overflowing with colour. If you have a colour scheme we'll gladly plant it that way too! Most of our requests are just for the nice, bright mix that we do, but if you want all white, or no red etc., just let us know!

Show & Tell Sessions

Moved to June during National Garden Days

Ah, best laid plans! We were aiming for an April start for our sessions but spring has definitely sprung, so we are going to move our 'Show and Tell' Sessions to June to coincide with National Garden Days. Thanks for your understanding! While the dates/times are TBD, topics will include: Small Space Garden 'Patioscaping', Tomatoes and Drought Tolerant Perennials.

We're often asked great questions by our customers, so we're turning some of those 'FAQs' into short and sweet (30 minute) walking tour/info sessions. Most sessions will meet at the Info Center to start, and then one of our team members will guide folks to the topic area to introduce related plants, products, ideas and answer your questions.
